The Egyptians didn't use punctuation, or vowels. The Egyptian writing is called hieroglyphics and used pictures to represent different things. There are more than 700 characters, each representing something else.
How you read Hieroglyhs:
-If the animals are facing right, you read it from right to left.
-If the animal is facing left, you read it left to right.
-Or sometimes they just read it from top to bottom.
